The
southern border crossing between S.A. and the socalled
"homeland" Transkei at the "Great Kei River". A "Transit visa"
fee of 50 cents (!) had to be paid. |

The northern boundary line of Transkei near the S.A. town of Kokstad.
Crossing this homeland was rather expensive: we got stopped three
times and fined for speed violations -
and threatened to get "locked up"... -
